Pinterest boasts mountains of traffic with people searching for solutions but getting those people to your site probably will not happen with luck. With a keen Pinterest strategy, website optimization, and about two hours of set-up time, you can explode your Pinterest traffic with only about an hour per week of maintenance. You can outsource this one hour or simply do it yourself. It is really that simple.
This workshop will cover Pinterest basics including optimizing your site for pinning with Pinterest buttons, properly proportioned photos, and compelling images. With the Pinterest foundation in place, you will learn how to explore your Pinterest Analytics to understand why some pins bring traffic and others don’t. Many of us have posts that gets re-pinned readily but bring little traffic to our site. Many of us have pins that are simply never re-pinned. Why is that? How can we get more traffic to our most important but seemingly unloved content? This workshop will help you look at your web content and your Pinterest pins in a new way. Understand what is working for you on Pinterest and what isn’t using Pinterest Analytics. Begin to understand Pinterest Analytics data in an intuitive, non-Math-oriented fashion from a presenter who knows data well (and has a Ph.D. minor in statistics).
With Pinterest-optimized content that is bringing you traffic, you will then be ready to open the Pinterest flood gates. Amanda Rose will show how she spends less time in Pinterest and gets more traffic with her system that uses three assets in combination to set up a system of auto-pinning and traffic generation:
- Group Shared Boards
- ViralTag
- Secret Boards.
Once your content is Pinterest-optimized, you can replicate this simple system to get big traffic from Pinterest. The start-up time for the system is about two hours. Weekly maintenance is about one hour.
Workshop FAQs
Q: I am quite sure I am already using this strategy. How likely is that?
A: That is very unlikely. This strategy has not been described or discussed in any forum on the web and it will be unveiled for the first time in this workshop.
Q: Is this panel for websites with bigger or smaller audiences?
A: This strategy will help bloggers of all sizes, if only to become much more efficient in implementing promotions on Pinterest. Smaller bloggers will likely see a large percentage increase in traffic if they implement this strategy fully, including providing the weekly maintenance. Larger sites that are already successful in Pinterest should see an increase as well. The percentage increase in Pinterest traffic will be less dramatic to a website that already has hundreds of thousands (or millions) of page views per month but the strategy will save the site time in its Pinterest outreach.
Q: I am a social media manager and know a lot about Pinterest. Will this workshop really help me?
A: This panel is perfect for social media managers. In fact, an enterprising person could take this system and sell a Pinterest service to larger websites using it, potentially making a nice income and growing the client’s web traffic at the same time.
