Workshop #1: Want to Start a Brand? Learn From the CEOs. Are you considering starting a brand? Have you ever wanted to create something on your own? Learn from successful CEOs on how to get started, tips on where to start and the challenges that come with starting a brand.
Workshop #2–Powerful Strategies to Monetize Your Blog with the Amazon Affiliate Program. Amazon is the biggest online retailer in the country and one that most blog readers trust and turn to. Why not get a commission from the purchases your readers are already making? Find out how you can make over $1000 per month by using Amazon Affiliates, even if you have a small blog (under 10K pageviews). Yes, you read that right – making money through affiliates doesn’t require you to have a massive following. It’s all about crafting the right post, placing the links strategically and sharing with your readers products they need and want. This workshop is great for you if you’re starting a blog or if you’ve been blogging for a while without making more than a few bucks from Amazon.
Workshop #3–Making Love to the Camera: The Tools To Becoming Comfortable In Front Of The Lens. Lights. Camera…. Action… Except how many of you FREEZE instead of actually GOING FOR IT? Well, you’re 100% not alone, if you do in fact freeze, as being in front of the camera can be one of the most intimidating places on earth. Well, GiGi is going to help you “make love to the camera” or in other words, make you feel as comfortable as possible, by sharing tips from types of cameras to use, to lighting tricks, to coming up with topics to discuss on camera (honing your brand), to what to do with the footage when you’re done rolling. GiGi wants to empower and remind all of you that you have important things to say, thus getting in front of the camera so as to tell all those who find your uploaded videos, is paramount! By the end of this presentation, you will be ready for ACTION!

Workshop #4–Five Ways to Monetize Your Influence. Influencer marketing manager, Stephanie Robbins, teams up with leading eco-wellness influencers to discuss monetization and brand relationship successes and tactics. The panel will discuss sponsored campaigns, stores, social media partnerships, offline appearances and affiliate marketing as tools to maximize your influencer income and branding Moderator – Stephanie Robbins, Robbins Interactive Panel Amanda Swuilus – The Organic Bunny Carron Coleman – The Holistic Bunny.
Workshop #5–Kickin’ Up Your Instagram! Lessons for the Intermediate Instagrammer. Let’s chat Instagram! This workshop is designed for the intermediate Instagrammer who wants to step up their Instagram strategy and content. We will be discussing how to brand yourself and create or kick up your voice, create incredible content for brands including photos and stories. Editing photos, content planning, Instagram story strategy and editing and the dreaded algorithm will be discussed and dissected.
Workshop #6: How to get 70% Open Rates, 40% Click Through Rates, and Have People Actually Open and Engage with your Emails. Join George Bryant as he shares his five-part email recipe to get higher open and click-through rates, lower unsubscribe rates and create a better reconnection with your audience. You’ll also learn how to segment and tag your list to be in relationship with the people that want to be in relationship with you. And learn how to use email to develop all your future product offerings and have people waiting to buy when released.
From 1:30pm to 2:45pm workshops 7, 8 & 9
Workshop #7–Interactive & Live Session on How to Get Actionable Insights from Google Analytics with Live Audience Website Audits. This is a multi level presentation. First part would be a presentation and live demonstration of how you can use Google Analytics (or any other analytics tools) to get actionable insights about your audience and website. Actionable insights will allow you to directly optimize and adjust your website for immediate and measurable improvements based on data. This can be anything from web design changes, content topic updates to deeper insights on whom your perfect audience is. Second part of the presentation will be discussing why SEO should not be your main focus and how to approach ranking on Google the right way. Final part of the presentation will be an interactive session between the audience and me where I would go through their websites (not sure how many I can do – really depends on the time that is left) and provide them with an honest and blunt assessment of their website based on data and real life examples.
Workshop #8: From “Food & Health Blogger” to “Media Consultant” –Transform your media savvy and online expertise into a marketable consulting practice. Do you take great photos? Write good recipes? Give good health and wellness tips? What about telling a great story, or how to network online? These skills are a treasure when it comes to being a media consultant, the likes of which food, health, and lifestyle brands are desperate to tap into. Your blog savvy is your strength. Learn how to transform your skills as a blogger into a rich business beyond the world of sponsored posts and affiliate marketing. Brands need digital insight from bloggers like you. This session will help you identify your core media skills, what to pitch, and how to ask for what you are worth.
Workshop #9: Old School Promotion–How to Get a Book Deal & Media Coverage. We hear so much about social media, what about the more traditional ways of driving traffic to your website? Writing a book that sits on the shelf of Target and getting on a local morning show are also ways to increase your visibility in our space. Join Sally Erkus, Tshaka Armstrong & Lizza Morales as they cover how to get a book deal from a reputable publisher and how to get traditional media coverage.
