Session Description:
Better food. To get it, the changes to our food system are BIG. More land, more education, more financial support for farmers, more policy support etc. Net, net, we need BIG resources. And that’s exactly what Big Food is bringing to the table as it joins the better food movement. Join me to discover One Big Step for Better Food.
During this interactive (this means there will be time for questions and also that the panelists will be interacting with each other not giving presentations) session, let’s dive into why and how and with what “Big Food” is stepping up as players, even leaders, in the better food movement. Let’s explore what lessons they are learning from recent acquisitions as well as what collaborations could improve cost and access (investment in organic farmer education, securing land etc). Equally important, let’s get to what they need from you, from us, so that we can all, together, enable the changes we need to see to support better food today and tomorrow.
