With our StonyFIELDS #PlayFree Initiative, we extend that commitment to new fields, the playing fields! Over 26 million kids play sports on fields* and 65% of fields are sprayed with harmful pesticides**. It’s time for a change!
We are working with communities and families across America, to help them take the necessary steps to manage their fields and backyards organically and free from the use of harmful pesticides. Because we never stop looking for ways to protect our planet, in addition to our StonyFIELDS Initiative, we just unveiled the OpenTEAM project. Along with our partners at Wolfe’s Neck Center, Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research, and Land PKS, we believe that agriculture can be a solution to climate change, and through projects like OpenTEAM we are working to find a way!
