Kendra is a writer, researcher, and advocate with expertise in food and agriculture, sustainability and public health. She is currently Senior Staff Scientist at Friends of the Earth where she leads work on pesticides and the harms of industrial agriculture as well as organic and agroecological solutions. She has worked on environmental health campaigns at Health Care Without Harm and Breast Cancer Action and as a lecturer at UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University.
