Announcing another great sponsor for ShiftCon 2016, Biokleen!
“In 1989, one man took a stand against harmful toxic chemicals, lost, and then won for us all.” Jim Rimer was working as a sales executive for a chemical supply company when he began to notice strange symptoms affecting his colleagues and customers. When he tried to implement safety training, he was fired.
Jim decided that since his former employer wasn’t interested in creating safer products, he would do it himself. He cleaned carpets to fund his project, and spent nights studying chemistry and botany. In his garage in Portland, Oregon, he created cleaners powerful enough for the commercial industry he knew, mixed together with only a drum and wooden oar. Word soon caught on about the local man who was selling effective, plant-based, commercial cleaning products, and soon families began requesting bottles for their own homes.
The Biokleen line has grown over the years. From household cleaning products, to laundry and kitchen soaps, and even products for pets. All of these Biokleen products are free of phosphates, chlorine, ammonia, petroleum solvents, butyl, glycol ether, brighteners, artificial colors, artificial fragrance. And Biokleen is still family-owned and operated, with Jim’s daughter, Cindy, taking the reigns alongside her husband, Barry.
We are so excited to welcome the Biokleen family to our family at ShiftCon. They’ll be sharing their powerful, yet safe cleaners at their expo table.
