This year ShiftCon will be hosted in one of the most fascinating cities in the United States–New Orleans. It’s home to a truly unique melting pot of culture, food and music. And since Hurrican Katrina, a food revival has happened in the city that focuses on creating amazing flavors using simple ingredients. The hotel is minutes away from the historical French Quarter where you can visit historical sites, walking tours, enjoy some jazz, shopping, museums, and the amazing night life. We encourage you to come in early if you want to sightsee OR stay for an extra couple of days at the end of your trip. The ShiftCon program has been adjusted to give you Friday and Saturday night to explore the city. Make sure to take advantage.
Note: If you are not a blogger, you need to purchase a business pass or pass for non-governmental organizations at full price. Brands are not subsidizing non-blogger tickets. Each blogger ticket will be vetted and non-bloggers purchasing tickets will have their tickets refunded and asked to purchase business passes.
Also, please note that no one is allowed to distribute flyers, pamphlets or material about their business, non-profit or agency UNLESS they have an expo booth or hospitality suite. Anyone caught passing out materials will either have their materials confiscated OR be asked to leave. You are welcome to pass out business cards and collect other people’s information, but there is a difference with making personal connections and flyering the hall. We also ask that you do not enter anyone into your newsletter list without permission. All newsletter emails gathered at ShiftCon must be opt-in only. Ticket sales are non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred for a fee. Thank you for your attention to our rules.
