Shannon Gonsulan, Gonsoulin Land and Cattle
Shannon Gonsoulin, DVM is a sixth generation rancher. The family brand, “F2” was registered in 1787 and has been recognized as a Louisiana Century Farm from the Louisiana State Department of Agriculture for farms and ranches over 100 years old. He graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and along with his classmate and wife Toni, opened a mixed animal practice in New Iberia. Gonsoulin Land and Cattle promotes and produces grass fed beef, sold to local grocery stores, restaurants, and their own meat market at the ranch. GLC is a member of the American Grass fed Association and National Cattleman’s Association. His ranch also participates in various research projects with LSU Agcenter and Iberia Research Station, which directly are associated with research on grass-fed beef.
