Ayn Craciun is a founding board member of Non Toxic Irvine, which successfully advocated for the City of Irvine’s adoption of an organic landscaping policy in just three months of active campaigning. She and the rest of NTI continue to work toward bringing safer landscaping and pest control practices to every corner of Irvine and the rest of the planet. Beth Conway

Beth Conway is the Communications Director at Women’s Voices for the Earth. For over 20 years this women’s health non-profit has helped lead the fight to disclose and eliminate toxic ingredients in cleaning products, fragrance, salon products and feminine hygiene products. Women’s Voices for the Earth uses sound science to highlight the unique impacts toxic chemicals have on women’s health, and mobilizes women leaders nationwide to change corporate practices and government policies that impact their health. WVE’s campaigns have challenged – and moved – such chemical giants as SC Johnson and Son Inc., Procter and Gamble, The Clorox Company, RB (formerly Reckitt-Benckiser) and more.

Danni Washington

As the first African-American woman to host her own science television series, Danni is passionate about inspiring the next generation to connect and understand the natural world. In her latest science communication project, Danni is the host of a new STEM educational TV show which features the most current advances in bio-inspired technology and design called Xploration Nature Knows Best which aired nationwide on FOX (also available on HULU and Amazon Prime). A graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Marine Science & biology — Danni has found creative ways to put her passion for the ocean and science into exciting, high-profile ways. At age 21, she co-founded her own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called The Big Blue & You, which is dedicated to inspiring and educating youth about marine conservation through arts and media. In addition to her love of marine science, youth outreach and the arts, Danni is also a scuba diver, stand-up paddle boarder, digital influencer, curly girl and overall lover of the outdoors.

Kristin Schafer

Kristin Schafer is PAN’s Executive Director. With training in international policy and social change strategies, Kristin has been at PAN for over 20 years. Before taking on the Executive Director role, she was PAN’s program and policy director. She has been lead author on several PAN reports, with a particular emphasis on children’s health. She serves on the Policy Committee of the Children’s Environmental Health Network.
